The pillow covers are beautiful...all of the little designs are sewn on. I suppose I didn't realize that at the time of purchase. I hope they withstand the hands-on use of my family. We like to live on our furniture and often use the pillows for heads, etc. Extra sequins, shells, etc. are included with the covers. Fingers-crossed, but I do enjoy how pretty they look on my furniture.
